The results of a UCF student vote on marijuana and alcohol penalties are in. UCF
students passed a referendum by 57-percent that will help to equalize
penalties for the illegal use of marijuana and alcohol on campus.
Student
Senator Brendon Rivard, who introduced the measure, said its passing
shows students believe marijuana is safer than alcohol and should not
receive harsher punishments. Rivard hopes to work with administrators to bring the university's policies in line with facts. |
