It's time to bring out those camoflauge fatigues and combat boots - or maybe just a tie dye shirt and some sandals.
About
250 people plan to attend a marijuana boot camp Saturday at Regis
University in Denver. The daylong event is designed to train people in
the tactics of activism when it comes to reforming laws regarding
marijuana.
Hosted by Denver groups Safer Alternative For
Enjoyable Recreation and Sensible Colorado, the 2008 Colorado Marijuana
Reform Seminar and Activist Boot Camp will focus on "strategy,
communications, citizen lobbying, grassroots outreach, the media, and
the nature of state and local marijuana laws."
