The Colorado media has been following the story of a Denver woman who got drunk about a commercial flight, slapped and punched her young children, then assaulted a flight attendant. According to the complaint, when denied additional alcohol, Freeman threw a drink on the ground at the flight attendant.
The
flight attendant asked a correction officer who was a passenger on the
plane to assist by sitting near Freeman. The flight attendant also got
duct tape and had to physically restrain the woman, according to the
criminal complaint.
Freeman was arrested when the flight
landed in Denver. According to the complaint, she admitted to slapping
her children and drinking.
Yep, you read that right. Duct tape. Here's the confirmation from another story, which came out the next day. An affadavit by the Federal Bureau of Investigation says Freeman told
the flight attendant who intervened to mind her own business and even
threw a drink at her. The affidavit also stated the children were
crying and trying to hide in a corner on the floor.
Storin says it wasn't until the flight attendant got duct tape that the woman got the message. Sure sounds like a sticky situation... How many people do you think have ever gotten so buzzed on marijuana before a fligth that they beat their children and assaulted flight attendants until they were duct-taped down to a seat mid-flight?
