This is the kind of news famous people make when they use alcohol. This is the kind of news famous people make when they use marijuana.
Future hall-of-fame hockey goalie Ed Belfour of the Florida Panthers was at a bar being a
belligerent drunk, so the bar asked him to leave. He
wouldn't, and they called police. Belfour then got into a fight with
the cops and was ultimately charged with "disorderly intoxication" and resisting arrest. His teammate Ville Peltonen, who was with him inside the bar, added a final touch of class to the incident by damaging a nearby fire rescue vehicle, leading to a criminal mischief charge. On the flip side, actress Kirsten Dunst recently made marijuana-related headlines for simply speaking out about her use of marijuana and the fact that it is not such a scary thing. "I do like weed. I have a different
outlook on marijuana than America does. "My best friend Sasha's dad was Carl Sagan, the astronomer. He was the biggest pot smoker in the world
and he was a genius. I've never been a major smoker, but I think
America's view on weed is ridiculous. I mean - are you kidding me? If
everyone smoked weed, the world would be a better place."
Gotta love that Mary Jane... |
